This post is not one that’s filled with deep thought or groundbreaking ideology, but mainly one that shares a strong passion of mine…

I am ALL ABOUT women empowering other women…and even more so, people empowering people. How great is it to be able to support and inspire one another? I thrive off of encouragement, positivity, optimism, and kindness…anything that gives me ALL THE FEELS.

I believe the world needs more of this. Instead of living in comparison, jealousy, negativity, and constant competition…I love thinking about living in a society that chooses to uplift, support, encourage, and learn from one another.

All of our lives may look completely different; we all come from different backgrounds and upbringings, different ethnicities and cultures, and different socioeconomic statuses. Some of us may have no resources. Some of us may have all the resources. The list of differences can go on and on, but something that we all commonly share is that: WE HAVE WHAT IT TAKES. No matter what we’ve been through in life or may currently be going through, WE were built to own it and conquer it.

The Lord specifically created each of us uniquely and numbered the hairs on our heads. He created us for importance. He created us for success. He created us to be difference-makers. He created us for greatness!

Instead of allowing life’s challenges to knock you down this year, choose to own them! Take control of your life and fight to [amazon_textlink asin=’0762447699′ text=’be the BADASS‘ template=’ProductLink’ store=’poms2moms-20′ marketplace=’US’ link_id=’9045f69b-e5ac-4b33-be83-b9e13140eabd’] that you were created to be. We have the beautiful privilege of being incredible in every area of our lives.

Often, I find myself amazed at the reality that I’m called to be a mother and wife. When I really marinate in the responsibility of these remarkable positions in my life, I am consumed with thankfulness and delight in the thought of womanhood in general.

Seriously, let’s take a second to think about all of the different roles and responsibilities that we, as women, have on a daily basis. Really process it. It’s A LOT. So much that it can overwhelm and break us down at times, but it makes me proud to know that we are strong enough to handle it all.

No matter what your role is and how many things you may be juggling in your life right now, you’re armed for it. Sometimes, it’s easy to find yourself drowning in all that you’re involved in. Being great at your job, motherhood, marriage, family, friendships (etc) is NOT easy.

It might even feel suffocating at times, but let’s be people who show up daily and RISE to each occasion. Let’s work hard to be exceptional in all areas. We can be exceptional at our jobs, as mothers, in our marriages, and in our relationships. We are capable and called to do it.

How would life look different for us if we agreed to show up day in and day out, and aimed at being our best selves?

Even though life can be chaotic and has its challenges…it is meant to be lived beautifully. We all have one life to live…let’s make it count!

No matter what you may be facing today, I encourage you to commit to living your best life. I encourage you to believe the best about yourself and strive to be ALL that you were created to be.

Remember, YOU have what it takes!

Cayla, I am not sure how you knew I needed this message today. But I am SO HAPPY you wrote it. I have been letting the inner demons tear me down. They have been telling me I am not good enough, I am not a good mom, wife, or friend, and that I am not making a difference in people’s lives like I want. This post has been a huge encouragement! THANK YOU!

Aw, thank you so much Sara! God works in wonderful ways like that 🙂 It’s so easy to let negative self-talk dominate your mind sometimes, but you are so much more than that! No doubt that you are a wonderful mom, wife, friend (etc). I hope that you’re able to believe the best about yourself today!
