[ReviewDisclaimer]

We’ve collaborated and come up with a solid 22 FANTASTIC Father’s Day Gift Ideas we have given or plan to give our men this Father’s Day.

All of our guys are SO different; from the business man to the country guy to a former NFL player to the craft brew enthusiast… we’ve got the perfect solution that is sure to fit your man as well.

Trisha

Zach – The “Good Ole Country Boy” Dad.

That’s my Zach, the one you hear about in country songs. He is so hard working; whether it’s being a lineman or keeping up the land around the house. He also loves to be outdoors, hunting & fishing. He likes it most when his whole family is with him. If this fits the bill for your man here are some fail proof ideas for you!

Father-Son-Fishing

($) – Gift Cards to Cabella’s, Bass Pro or the local hardware store so he can go on his own shopping spree.

($$) – Country Boys love their toys. In our case it’s a Kawasaki Mule. Help him pimp his ride with a  light bar.

($$$)A cooler like this one for his fishing/hunting trips or just hanging out with his buddies. Don’t give the cooler empty. Be sure to stick his favorite beverage inside.

(DIY) – We made Zach a coat rack for his shop using a 2×4, antique glass insulators and the kids hand prints. It serves a purpose but also represents his life as a lineman and a daddy.

Cayla

Josh- The “Golf Pro/Give-Me-a-Cold-One” Dad.

Josh is someone who loves to have FUN! He loves quality time with his family and his friends, golfing, drinking good beer, and is a lover of all the sports. He is ALL IN when it comes to caring for his baby girl, but loves staying busy and doing fun activities in the meantime. This “Dad-type” will be over the moon for these Father’s Day gift ideas:

Dad-Daughter-In-Baseball-Glove

($) – Growler of his favorite craft beer–you can never go wrong

($$) – Box of personalized golf balls

($$) – A date night to Top Golf

($$$) – New golf clubs…. if you’re interested in spending a pretty penny and trying to earn some serious brownie points.

Shelley

Demetrius- The “Has It All” Dad.

Demetrius buys everything he wants which makes it nearly impossible to buy him something practical.  I have to be SUPER creative when thinking about what to get him for every occasion. Sound familiar? Here are a few ideas I’ve been thinking about (or have already given him).

Man-With-Button-Up

($) – Bottle Breacher – 50 caliber bullet carved into a bottle opener with his initials on it.  This bottle opener is a great conversation piece and  even better when it opens a delicious cold beer after a long day at work.

($$) – Mizzen & Main Shirts- When Demetrius first was drafted, he got a custom suit measured and made especially for him. Fast forward 5 years in the NFL and NONE of his nice clothes fit him. Instead of buying a bigger size of a $300 Burberry shirt, we found these AMAZING dress shirts that fit him PERFECTLY.  I was shocked when he put his first one on and the sleeves came all the way past his wrist. A little louder for the people in the back… the sleeves came past his wrist! They aren’t cheap (about $125) but if they will fit him until he’s 65 and only wearing a robe, I’ll buy one in every color.  Intrigued? Get $25 off your first order here!

($$$) – Custom Artwork- The best gift I think I’ve ever given him are these paintings of our dogs.  A friend of mine painted them for us several years ago and I think about her every time I see them.

Painting-Two-Pitbulls

Jenny

Drew – The “Man of the House” Dad.

Drew is constantly surrounded by girls! Between me, Aubrey, Caroline, and even our dog Paisley, there is very little time for him to be a manly man!  Most of his time is spent talking about Princesses (Belle is his favorite), bows, panties, color combinations, playing dress up, and then helping me with all the household chores. For Drew, and this type of Dad, we try to get him very manly gifts that he can enjoy while not pretending to be Prince Charming or the Beast.  Here are my suggestions:

Dad-And-Two-Daughters

($) – I agree with the other moms;  Bass Pro Shop or Dicks gift cards, baseball hats, or golf balls are all great gifts!  He would also enjoy a nice pocket knife. Drew always has one, just in case.

($$) – A new fishing pole.  Tie a little note to the end that says, “You’re our greatest catch!”

($$$) – Yard tools!  Last year Drew got a new push lawnmower.  This year he is getting a new weed eater. He really enjoys yard work and this “alone time.”

Priceless – Anything that the girls create for him is something that he treasures.  Check out our Pinterest Page for ideas on cute little crafts your kids can make for the special guy in their life!

Kaitlin

David – The “Work Hard/Play Hard” Dad.

David is in outside sales and couldn’t do a better job providing for our family. (We’re so proud of you, babe!) Part of his gig working for the man requires him looking professional. When he’s not on the grind, he also indulges in the finer things in life. So if this sounds like your guy, I have a few ideas for you:

Dad-And-Daughters

($)  – Ties – My guy wears one 5 days a week and cannot have enough.  He really likes Countess Mara and organizes them on this cedar tie hanger. (Yes, it’s full.)

($) – Father/Daughter T-shirts – Now, it’s not all fancy-pants for David 24/7. Like any one of us, he changes out of his suit/tie into a pair of gym shorts the second he gets home from work. So for the last 3 Father’s Days, I’ve gotten him and the girl(s) matching Father/Daughter t-shirts and onesies. Similar to this one. Or this one. He LOVES them and it’s one of my favorite traditions.

($$) – A nice beverage – This man loves him a fancy drank. Irish whiskey or wine are always solid options.

($$$) – Spa day –  Does that sound familiar? Like me, David enjoys a little pampering and relaxation. So in a perfect world, we’d both get a couples spa trip for our “parenting” holidays and call in the grands for babysitting.

Karey

Brad, The “Dads Just Wanna Have Fun” Dad.

Brad gets so much joy from spending time together—wife, pup, and sunshine.  He’s the best. If you have a Dad that values family fun time above all else, especially with your dog, these are some gifts for you.

($) – Baseball hat – Shield your man’s face from the sun as he reps his favorite team. It’s a quick and easy gift that he’ll use when you head outdoors together as a family. Might be a good excuse to throw away some of those other older tattered ones that seem to linger forever too.

($$) – Softball cleats – Brad comes home SO pumped after a fun softball game with the guys from the Fire Department.  I guess after years of athletics, he jumps right back into competition mode. Give your dad the gift of the game with the apparatus he needs to hit the field, where you and your family can come cheer him on!

($$$) – Plan a trip. Take him somewhere!  Exploring a new place has always been our favorite thing to do. Bringing the pup might be hard if you fly, but you could also pick a spot close to your house that you’ve never been and just go. Roll the windows down for your dog and walk the city streets of somewhere you’ve never been.

I love that you broke it down on the different types of dads. My husband is so hard to shop for and sometimes I feel like he just wants to shop for himself. So I think your suggestion of a customized present sounds like a great idea! Thanks for the tips =)

Haha, I love it! As a “golf wife”, I can totally relate. Balls, a new club, round of golf and beer on you, Top Golf, a personalized golf tee or ball, a golf ball display rack…the possibilities are endless!
