A Mom’s Guide To Dominating Amazon Prime Day

Welcome to Christmas in July because Amazon’s Prime Day is coming. We can’t even call it Prime “DAY” because it’s become a 36-hour all-you-can-buy extravaganza.

It begins at 3pm ET on July 16th, and runs through end-of-day July 17th.

I, (Kaitlin,) am Poms2Mom’s self-proclaimed resident “Prime Mom.” I’ve been living the Prime-Time-Life for over 5 years and cannot say enough about how convenient Amazon has made my life. 100 million others agree.

I personally, (and regularly) take advantage of Free 2-Day Shipping, Subscribe & Save, Baby Registry, and Amazon Videos. I’m only a heartbeat away from handing over my grocery orders to them as well.

So if you are a Prime addict like me – or you aren’t yet but you know you’re bound to be – here’s how YOU can maximize the value of Prime Day.

GUIDE TO PRIME DAY

1.) SIGN UP FOR PRIME – You have to be a member to get the deals so sign up now! You get a 30-day trial.

As a result, you get FREE, 2-day shipping on hundreds of thousands of items and access to their many exclusive programs, listed below.

2.) CREATE A REGISTRY – Where are my preggo mamas at? Future brides? An Amazon registry is JUST the thing for you. You can’t beat the selection and if you don’t get everything you ask for, Amazon rewards you with a discount to fulfill the remaining items on your registry.

3.) USE SUBSCRIBE & SAVE – Earn discounts when you create monthly subscriptions to your most frequently used products! (And check out our latest blog post to see my favorite Subscribe & Save items!

4.) USE AMAZON FAMILY – Similar to Subscribe & Save, you can get up to a 20% discount on diapers and other baby-related items with your membership! (This is THE ONLY WAY I buy diapers.)

5.) SIGN UP FOR AMAZON FRESH – Unlimited grocery deliveries! (Say what???) For PRIME DAY ONLY, you can receive $30 off your first order. Beyond that, Prime members receive a hefty discount on this service.

6.) USE PRIME PANTRY – You can sign up today for a Free, 30-Day Trial to order your most frequently used non-perishable items either on a one-time or recurring basis!

7.) AMAZON FREETIME – FreeTime is a lifesaver for my eldest on her [amazon_textlink asin=’B01J90MOVY’ text=’tablet‘ template=’ProductLink’ store=’poms2moms-20′ marketplace=’US’ link_id=’f0ae5ea6-8776-11e8-b754-d172c041d303′]. FreeTime grants you access to movies, shows, games, and more.

Last but not least, Amazon has released some of the amazing deals they’re featuring on Prime Day. For mamas especially, you might be interested in checking out some of these great buys.

As for me, I’m in the market for some kids arts and crafts supplies, new running shoes, and a screen protector for my phone. Think Prime Day will save the day? 😉

What are you guys shopping for on Prime Day? I’d love to hear about it!
