Fall in the Carolinas

Hellooooo Sweater Weather! Hands down… fall is my favorite time of year – ALL the feels! Fall in the Carolinas means cool mornings on the deck with a cup of coffee, football games, tailgates, sweaters with boots and fun family activities. Not to mention it’s also snuggle season and cuddling is my love language.

I’ve always loved fall but becoming a Mountaineer and spending some of my best years in Boone, NC has made it an obsession.

The weather in Boone during the fall is absolutely gorgeous. Tourists come *specifically* to look at the beautiful leaves on the trees that have changed into beautiful golds and reds. It makes for the PERFECT fall family photo shoot or epic hike up the mountain.

Love this list! We have vacationed in North Carolina every year for the last 18 years. Our favorite is Wilmington/Topsail Island/Carolina Beach. We hope to move to this area sometime in the near future.

I’m from Raleigh NC and I love going to the mountains in the fall. I plan to go either the first or second weekend in November. Under #22 by chance are you guys at Catawba falls? I hiked that trail to the highest waterfall last year and it was gorgeous!

These are awesome! My sister just moved to Charlotte and I am hoping to visit her soon. If I make it down I will definitely be checking some of these out. They would be great for family trips!

I love fall and how tranquil it seems to be. I’d love to bake a spice bread.
